Can I install Malewarebytes Anti-malware without having to temporarily disable my webroot security system?

You can install it if you wish, and there would be no need to do anything with Webroot software (which is designed to have widespread compatibility), but there is no need for it really, and it will not add anything to the protection you're getting from SecureAnywhere, in my opinion.

If I may offer a view to complement the excellent advice already provided...you may want to install MBAM but disable the real time protection fucntionality (if you have the Pro license...if you do not then this does not apply) and just use it as a second opinion scanner...not that one is strictly needed if using WSA already. I do and I like to have some confrimation that all is well on my system...so MBAM is rolled out periodically for a quick airing and then put back in it's box.
I believe that many of us here do that...but strictly speaking Dermot's and Antus' advice is on the money...will not conflict/does not require WSA to be disabled to install or use MBAM. :D
But if in the rare case that you find that this is not true then do comeback and let us know as there are workarounds/settings that can be changed to resolve that sort of thing if required.

No need to disable WSA when installing MBAM. But installing MBAM would be an overkill. WSA already covers all corners of protection against malware and mightily hails the 'layered security setup' notion.

And it's not all computer security, as there are many other varied and enjoyable areas of the community forums to explore.
SecureAnywhere is a unique software product, and it is more than adequate if used alone, to protect your computer in many ways, with no slowdowns or constant downloading of updates etc. which might affect user experience.
