I had the free version of malwarebyte on my computer but now it is not available. With Webroot Secure Anywhere Antivirus is there any malware protection?  If not is there a free download available?

Hi beagle40552

Welcome to the Community Forums.

WSA's whole focus is that of protection, and where necessary, the removal of malware (not just viruses) from your system should there unfdortuanetly be the need for that...but primarily it looks to prevent the infetion and then prevent any mawlare that may have slipped through the next to activate and run on your system.

Unfortunately, WSA does not have a freeware version. There are in fact a number of version designed to offer the bsaic basic protection + additional features, of which trail versions are avaialble (HERE).  One can run these for a number of days before a purchase is necessary...once the trial has expired WSA will still detect malware but will not remove it, i.e., it beconmes just a scanner.

If you do decide to purchase a keycode then you would have a 70 day money back guarantee should you finally decide that you do not wish to continue using the product.

But best of all, as a key code holder/subscriber to WSA you are eligable for free technical support in relation to anuything WSA-related, i.e., should you believe you are infected and WSA does not appear rto find anything then you can opena support ticket and speak to the Support Team who will investigate for you, etc.

Whilst a subscription is not cheap (but in many case no more expensive than the competition) the protection offered is top notch with realtime proetction...something that you do not get with the free version of MBAM.

If you need further information please post back.
