My printer/scaner recommends turning off anti virus software during installation, how do I do?

Just to add to what Daniel has said, if I may...with some AVs/ISs you would need to because thry can interfere with the install process...but not in the case of WSA, as it is too 'smart' for that...that is why the scanner/printer manufactures saay that...nothing more/just a precaution.
