Hello Hag625,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I have a Mac and I am not having any issues running my Time Machine with Webroot. Do you have Yosemite or El Capitan may I ask?

I have never heard of this before with Time Machine being picked up as a threat. Can you tell me what drive you are using for your Time Machine? Not that this makes a difference. Webroot should not be claiming this is a threat. Can you post a screen shot?

But you might want to Submit a Support Ticket and they can check this out for you. This is a free service with an Webroot subscription.
