I downloaded software "WINHOTSPOT_V2_setup_net_4.5" How do I know if it contains a virus or malware?

To scan a specic file ilke that simply open the folder to which you saved the file. Right click on the downloaded file and select Scan WIth Webroot from the options.
Also, remember that WSA will have scanned the file as it was downloaded as well :)
