My webroot home page has an orange border and an exclamation point where the check mark usually is.  Why?

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Sorry I don't understand as I don't see anything on the Webroot home page, can you post a snapshot? Or are you talking about the main GUI and it's Brown like this?

yes - that is what it looks like, but the upper left hand corner still says protected.

Can you tell me where you purchased your copy of WSA and is it the AV only version and how many days is remaining on your subscription? http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/

Thanks,

Daniel 😉

Well since you didn't come back in the last few hours I would ask that you try a clean reinstall of WSA. If that doesn't work then Submit a Support Ticket and they will check into it.

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

Daniel ;)
