Hi,

I downloaded Linkinus trial IRC client from http://conceited.net/products/linkinus

and Webroot reports a threat in one of the files (.tiff). Is this for real?

I also wrote Linkinus support.

thank you
david

It's a FP I checked the MD5: 8c89f81d9ec8d9c018f162bb4ea2758f on VT. https://www.virustotal.com/en/ so you can restore from Quarantine and Submit the support ticket!

HTH,

Daniel ;)

I scanned the Zip contents and found nothing? Or is it during install?

If you think it's a False Positive please Submit a Support Ticket and they will get it corrected for you as I don't have a Mac!

Cheers,

Daniel 😉

Can you Save a Scan Log and just post the line or lines to that tiff picture file detection!

Thanks,

Daniel
