Where can I find details explaining the headings PID, Local address, Remote address, Type and State? Thanks.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
These are generic terms for which the definitions are as follows:
PID: Short for process identifier; a PID is a unique number that identifies each of the running processes in an operating system such as Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, etc.
Local address: Local IP addresses are referring to IP addresses of adapters on the server/computer itself.
Remote address: Remote IP addresses are the source IP address from which the traffic came from.
Type: Refers to the protocol being used for the communication. These are as defined by Internet Protocol suite used by programs running on different computers on a network, and include UDP (User Datagram Protocol), & Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), being amonst the most common.
State: The state is the current state of the connection, i.e., how long the connection has been active, or whether it is 'Listening', etc.
Essentially, they provide you with techncial details about each conenction that is active on your system.
