Protect Edge
Is it advisable or even possible to protect microsoft edge in identity protection part of wsa like chrome and ie?

It does work now if you look where I added Edge to ID Shield and the padlock now shows. https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/I-ve-upgraded-to-Windows-10-and-the-Edge-browser-isn-t-showing/ta-p/210239
And you need to add both files to the ID Shield!

+56No I had both and I had Snagit Open and Protected as well so false sense of protection until I closed Snagit and the Padlock disappeared with Edge still open.@ wrote:

That's what I was worried about. I had one already listed in Protected Applications and I cannot add manually the second one. I am going to do a clean reinstall. Do you think that would work? Would I be able to manually put second instance in?

+56No need to add now! But you should be able to add many things to protect as I have, Browsers, Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Snagit all Protected.@ wrote:

The padlock shows on my taskbar when Edge is open and the active window, though it does not matter much to me. I do not use Edge except to test things to make replies here :S

I have been testing Edge with start page, as my default browser, for a few weeks now and don't find toooo much fault with it so far. But does have limitations.
