I added both of those files to identity shield and when i open edge i do get the padlock,Thanks people

Looks like support for Extensions in Edge is going to be delayed until 2016:-

For as much hooply they have given about how great the new browser is... they seem to be doing just about everything they can do to KEEP people from liking it and using it.  I HATE it, and the lack of being able to use the extensions I desire (Webroot) is a huge part of that.

Well I feel the same way. If I can't have Webroot Extensions then I don't want to even get close to Edge!;)

I was hoping webroot would protect my browser too.
I guess we will all have to wait  :(

It's Microsoft's fault and not Webroot. Microsoft don't allow many extensions for Edge at this time and we don't know when that will change.
