RansomWare infected my computer,,, not a peep from Webroot. Notta.. corrupted everything.
Had to download free MS Security and Essentials to run , detect and remove ransomWare virus after it infected my computer , trashing all files, email, system restore points as well as all files on back up external drive. Not a peep from Webroot. Useless. Lost everything. Will not be renewing Webroot.
+56Sorry about that - there are new strains of ransomware that are coming out every day and it's tough to stay on top of all the new strategies they employ to get around our defenses. We work as rapidly as we can to protect against all the new strains, but no protection is 100% unfortunately.
I think I'm having the same issue with Ransomeware. It has completely disabled my Webroot Antivirus software. Not sure what to do. I called Webroot yesterday, but have not heard back yet
