I renewed Webroot, filled in the form, typed in the id characters requested but they were "incorrect" each time. The taskbar indicater still shows the program as expired. Now what?

Hello ?,

Are you still having issues with the renewal? Because sometimes a uninstall/clean reinstall can help this.

Please follow the steps closely!

 • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
 • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
 • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
 • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
 • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
 • Let it finish it's install scan
 • Reboot once again

Let us know if this resplves your issue or not.

Thanks!

Hello Rags,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Are you having issues with your new keycode? Are you renewing a Best Buy or Webroot keycode? Do you have the same Webroot version that you are trying to renew?

Please check the following if you are having issues with your keycode.
 • Are you typing the keycode in correctly? Many times the characters i/1, o/0, s/5, b/8 and others are confused when the user types the code in manually..(Do not put in the dashes)
 • Make sure  you are using  20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
You can add new keycodes to your account as you purchase new SecureAnywhere products. Sign into your Account Console.

To add keycodes, you must have Admin permission.

To add a license keycode:
 1. Open the SecureAnywhere website menu and click Manage Keycodes.
 2. Click Add Product Keycode to open the keycode field:
 3. Enter the product keycode and click Add.

Hope this helps? If not Please Submit a Support Ticket free of charge with an active Webroot subscription.
