Scan Time On Mac Computer

Hello,

While reviewing the scan status from the online console for my laptops that all have complete on them, I noticed the MacBook Pro was running scans every 10 minutes that lasted for about 10 or 11 minutes.  At a couple of points it scanned for over an hour.  Is this normal?  My PC (Windows) based laptops only scan for 2 or 3 minutes.  No infections have ever been detected.

Thank you for your help.

If I may add to what @ has posted. Mac and Windows are two different worlds when it comes to WSA scanning. The 10 to 11 minute scans are normal, but running a scan every 10 minutes is not. Before I suggest doing a Uninstall / Reinstall of WSA Please submit a Support Ticket or Contact Webroot Support. to see why it is scanning every 10 minutes. It maybe something simple like Whitelisting some files. We don't want to do a uninstall / reinstall now because of Webroots Rollback feature. See what Support suggests.

Hi bigfoot2348

Please take a look at this previous thread on a similar topic...but which may have some bearing on what you are asking about.
