Ok, I updated to windows 10 about an hor ago. I updated from windows 8 to windows 10. However I didn't know that webroot secure anywhere wasn't compatible with windows 10 before I did the update and now I can't get webroot to open at all. What I get is a message saying webroot doesn't work on windows 10 and therefore I can't open it to look for updates on it. Is there an update for it to run on windows 10 and if there is how can I get to it as I can't open my webroot now. Please help.
Thank you,
Cheryl

Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Webroot is compatible with Windows 10 if you have the lastest version of Webroot which is WSA version 9.0.1.35.

Would you try to uninstall Webroot from the Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/Webroot/Uninstall? And please do a clean reinstall of Webroot as shown below? This should resolve your issue.

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue? If not please submit a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription and they can help as well.

Thanks,
