Should I have scan archived files checked in Advanced Settings?

I have a Mac running Webroot and I have checked Scan Archives in Advanced settings.
 
Are you aware of the Mac User Guide?

      If installed on a PC the 'Scan Archived FIles' setting is checked by default...unless I am very much mistaken...and I would not change it. The default settings for WRSA work just fine & provide excellent protection, etc.
