Since installing Webroot my spam box has increased from a few per day to 40 or 50 approx. why is .

Since installing Webroot my spam box has increased from a few per day to 40 or 50, why is this?  It is a nuisance scanning this many spam to ensure there is nimportanttn messages.  Could you stop this from happening?

    You may be assured that there is no possibility that your installation of Webroot has been the cause, in any way, of you seeing an increase in the Spam you've recently received.  
    Your email address has not been shared with any potentially dubious companies, and is safe with Webroot.
