I purchase a Skype and it will not work!! I e-mailed a Skype support tect. today. He requested to access my system to
determine what was going on. H showed me all these files that he said were corrupting my computer. I saw words like "stopped", "listening", a lot of files the were just numbers?????? I really do not understand. He also stated that my system was running at a very slow, which it is. I have no other systems like iPhone, laptop attached to my computer. The only thing that is attached is my modem and rougher. Do I have a major problem or what?? I have two of your webroot software on my system.
I thought that would take care of all problems!!!
Thank you in advance for any help you might provide. The board does not state my need!

Hello @ ,
Welcome to the Webroot Community!
The company you spoke with is a fee based provider of support, not skype. I would not advise letting them on your system.
Webroot will not interfere with Skype on the system and it is advisable to check out their support page or contact them directly at https://support.skype.com/en/skype/windows-desktop/..
Webroot is a security company, we are there to protect your computer, not ensure that your third party programs are working correctly. We can certainly help if the issue is caused by Webroot, but it is extremely unlikely.
You could certainly contact our support team at https://detail.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp but if the issue is unrelated to Webroot or a threat, we cannot assist.
