Watch out for false Microsoft Partner listings located in popups. Most of these will offer a free scan, then they will scan and require your to purchase the full program to remove the problems. The program may be getting your personal information.
Never click on these.
Now, My friend did click on this program and I didn't know if anyone has had success removing the program. It is listed as a virus but Webroot didn't find it on a normal scan. Webroot is usually better than other antivirus programs so I didn't know if they just hadn't caught this one yet.
If I can't find a way, I will surgically remove it in the Registry.
If anyone has found a way or if anyone from Webroot monitors this post, let me know.
