Slow Moving Computer
I built a computer less than 2 months ago 8 cores, 16 gig of ram etc. and that's when I first installed webroot anywhere. Worked great until about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, the web pages that I usually go to now load extremely slow. I would then shut down webroot and go to those sames pages and it would load normal. I try it again the next day same issues. Slow. How do I remedy this situation? I appreciate any help in advance
Check in the tools section of your browser. See if you have an extension called Webroot Filtering Extension. If so, try disabling the extension and see if that makes a difference. After it does fix the problem. Try exiting your browser and then when you go back in try turning the Webroot Filtering Extension back on. See if this clears the problem. I am not an expert, but it seemed to work for me.
Also, if it is a problem with web filtering extension be sure to report so Webroot can work on solving the problem.
