SteelSreies engine files from ver3.71 shown as infected
Webroot tells me that the following files from the SteelSeries software are infected with a virus. I let Webroot remove the files but I question that the files are infected. The files are dtshpxinit64.dll, uci64s118.dll, and usbaud64.sys. Does anyone else have the new SteelSeries keyboard software flagged by Webroot?

These files, if removed by Webroot, will most likely be placed in Quarantine.
From what you are saying you believe that the determination on these files are False Positives, which is always positive as they may have been recently updates and therefore not yet been seen/process in the Webroot Cloud.
In terms of what you can do about this is:
(i) you can Open a Support Ticket to notify the Support Team, asking them to check out the files and if 'good' to whitelist them for you, so that the next time a scan is run thjey will be reviewed and most likely restored out of Quarantine by WSA OR
(ii) you can manually submit each file to Webroot via this Submissions URL, which will have the same effect. I am not sure which will be the quicker method but the choice is yours.
Either way I would recommend one of the above. as soon as you are able. as a means of sorting this issue out for you.

How do you submit files that are in quarantine? The only way that I see to do it in Webroot would be to take the finds out of quarantine and put them back into the system. After that I can link the files to the "Submissions" process. This does not sound like a very safe way to send files for submission after Webroot has quarantined them. Why does Webroot not let you submit files that are in quarantine? Other AV software that I have used in the past would let you submit their quarantine files to be checked.

Apologies...my response was a generic one indicating what you could do in relation to suspected FPs...so you are quite correct. If you believe that the files are good and you are the victims of FP determinations by WSA then y9ou can restore the fiels and then submit them for review & potential whitelisting if so required.
If you do not want to do that/are not sure then you can just open the Support Ticket and await the detgermination of the SupportTeam, eventual wjitelisting (if the FP determinationis proved to be correct) and then automatic reinstatement of the files when the next scan runs after whitelisting (quarantined files are always include as part of a scan so that any change in determination in the Cloud is actioned locally).
As to why "Webroot not let you submit files that are in quarantine" that I cannot say but agree it would be a nice feature. If so minded yo could start a Feature Request by posting details of the suggestions in a new Feature Request (HERE)...which other members can comment on & assign kudos in support of the suggestion. The DevelopmentTeam review regularly and do action the most meritorious suggestions, etc.
