Suspect Malware

My computer screen is frozen with message to call 844-600-6224 because it states my computer is infectedwith malware. Checking the phone number on a second computer, the number is bogus.  How do I removed the message from my computer?

This is a definitively a SCAM.  No reputable company sends emails, pop ups, or phone calls of any kind advising that you may have a problem.
 
If you clicked anything links, allowed them to remote into your computer, or went to any web sites then please submit a Support Ticket ASAP (now would be a good idea....) so that the Support Team can look into that for you and help you rid yourself of this annoyance.  It is also possible that you have picked up a PUA (Potentially Unwanted Application) which is generating the message/popup...and again the Support Team can investigate & look to resolve the issue for you.

THIS IS A SCAM!!  Neither Microsoft nor any other company sends emails, pop ups, or phone calls of any kind advising that you may have a problem.
 
If you clicked anything links, allowed them to remote into your computer, or went to any web sites please submit a Trouble Ticket ASAP.  (Now would be a good idea....)

Microsoft never issues this type of warning or email or anything of a sort!  Please see the following link for Microsofts official word on this:
