    how do i turn off Webroot to install quickbooks

    Welcome to the Webroot Community,
     
    Please right click on Webroot in the system tray and click shut down Webroot and enter the CAPTCHA.

      Welcome to the Community Forums.
       
      If I may just add to what Sherry has posted...you should not have to turn off WSA to install an applicaiton and certainly not one of the likes of QuickBooks.
       
      It sounds to me that the version that you are trying to install may not be whitelisted in the Webroot Cloud and therefore you shoudl Open a Support Ticket to advise the Support Team of that and sort it out centrally.
