unrecognized usb device

keep getting an unrecognized device and associated message regarding this device.  I remove device, but it and the message keep coming back?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
 
This can be caused by a number of things, including the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or corrupt, or your PC requires an update for issues that may conflict with a USB external hard drive and Windows, etc.

Are you Safely removing the USB Device? Also have a peek here............................
