is there an easer way to upgrade to next years program with removing old one and reinstalling?
it is a hassle because of program settings i have to setup.

You always have the latest version with your active subscription so no worries as Webroot doesn't use the year anymore so if you have v9.0.14.58 installed that's the latest version out to everyone! See here for more info: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/support/support-consumer-release-notes

According to the release notes, the update will have limited availability during the holiday period.
I did what Petr has suggested and simply downloaded and installed the new version right over the existing installation. Easy-Peasy. ;)

+7If perhaps @ you have a BestBuy subscription such as I...@Nic explained to me once that BB has a low priority in roll outs..This is actually good so as to catch all the bugs before we receive it. It will show up only and only when they place it on the servers. Checking for updates will not expedite the release. From Nic...Hope he is OK...:D
