Yesterday I updated to Windows 10.  In the past Webroot has always informed me if a website for trustworthy.  This feature seems to be eliminated now.

Hello crispinsmom,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Would you mind doing a uninstall/reinstall of Webroot? This will only take 5 minutes to do.

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

Baldrick

Hi crispinsmom

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may just precise here...this feature that you appear to be 'lacking'; is actually a two component part of WSA and relies on (i) fucntionality in the WSA client installed on your system & (ii) the use of extensions added to your brower(s) automatically when WSA is installed.

So once you have tried the uninstalll/clean install suggest by Sherry, please go into your browser(s) and via the Exntension/Addon Manager check that the Web Filtering extension is (a) installed and (b) enabled. If either of these is a negative then post back together with the details of which browser(s) you use and we will see if we can assist further with getting that element working.

Regards, Baldrick
