I am pretty new to WebRoot and have been using it a week or so. Suddenly today, in the middle of gaming online (a competitive match type situation) my game minimized and a pop-up came up from the system tray. It was WebRoot saying something like "your security report is ready to view".
I went back to the game and finished it out, but it was a bit choppy because the game doesnt like being minimized then maximized.
So anyway, I wonder is there any setting that disables this popup? I went through the whole settings menu and found nothing about it, I searched around and found this guy asking in the forums, seems like the best answer was to "just click the pop-up". If it continues to pop up and close out my games it will drive me crazy though, so is that really the best answer? If I can't disable it does anyone know how often I should expect it? Seems it has been close to exactly a week since installing, so it is once a week it happens or what?
Oh ya also the report itself just tells me how many times I scanned my system, definitely nothing on the report I need to know or care about, so I'd just rather disable it.

It's several months since I last saw it so I think you can be reassured that it won't be a regular occurrence. If and when it does pop back up, it is best to have a quick look at it before closing it out. I think that way you discourage it from reappearing too often. If it thinks you haven't looked at it, I suspect it's more likely to reappear.

Ok I will keep an eye on it, once every few months I can probably live with.
I like the idea of a report once in a while to let you know how it has been running, but it should let you choose to not have it pop up and kind of "force" it's acknowledgement.
Anyway, maybe a feature request, some way to suppress the notices and look at it more "when I want to" kind of thing.
