I have just renewed for another year.  It was on my Discover card.

In order to help clarify things, I do have a couple questions/comments.
 
  • Did you renew by clicking the renew button within the software?  If you renewed, through a renewal page, then you will not need a new key code.
  • Did you complete the transaction directly with Webroot or was the transaction through Best Buy?
