My daughter and I both got new laptops right before Easter. We got the webroot download with it. We installed it on both computers. She hasnt been able to use her laptop because when you turn it on just the screen saver stays on. Desk top items will not come on. We tried turning it on again yesterday. It has been turned on since yesterday and still is on screen saver. No desktop yet.

The computer would probably start in Safe Mode, but I would let the Experts at Webroot Support look into it for you since the service is Free and it would probably take them a few minutes to find the problem.

    I would suggest to Contact Support encase your daughters computer is infected. I would not uninstall Webroot at this time because that would cancel Webroot's Roll Back Feature.
