WHAT IS WEBROOT FILTERING EXTENSION AND IS IT NECESSARY THAT I HAVE IT ENABLED?

    Yes you would want to enable the Webroot Webfilter as the Web Shield does both jobs for Web Blocking and Search Annotations as it uses BrightCloud.
