Webroot interference with MAC Time Machine

Since I upgraded my MAC to Big Sur recently, my Time Machine backup stopped working. After a week of diagnostic with Apple tech support, it was determined that Webroot SecureAnywhere was preventing the MAC backups from working.  I uninstalled Webroot, and suddenly, Time Machine started working again. I let it work for a few days. Then, I reinstalled Webroot, and immediately, Time Machine stopped working again.  So my question….  Has this been reported and can Webroot do something about it?

Hello @Somatophylax

Can you tell us the version of Webroot you have installed?

Here is the latest version   for Catalina and Big Sur Only v9.2.0.95 https://mac.webrootmultiplatform.com/production/wsa-mac/10.15/9.2.0.95/WSAMAC.dmg

Please let us know the outcome!

Thanks,

I have v.  9.2.0.95 : 1581    Since I reinstalled it this morning, it’s probably the latest.
