Hi. We have installed Webroot on over 100 machines in our company, and only a few have issues with newly created or modified files.
Webroot locks the newly created file and doesn't allow it to open until rebooting the computer.
I found this topic (Windows 10 Fall Creator Update - Bug Fix | Webroot Community) where you describe the same issue and want to know if it must be fixed by patch or if it is already included in new versions because this topic was created five years ago. Thank you.
