Webroot shutting itself off

Just joined the community.  I have been using Webroot for a couple of years.  Just about a week ago when turning on my computer I got a message from the Security Center (Windows 8.1, IE) that antivirus was shut off with the option of starting Webroot or checking for updates and loading Windows Defender.  I clicked on webroot and recieved the microsoft message "do you want to allow the following (WEBROOT) to make changes to your computer".  I clicked yes.  It never loaded Webroot.
I went and clicked on Webroot in APPS and tried running it as administrator.  No Change.
Now when I start up the computer from off Windows always pops up and  asks do trust and want to run Webroot.  I click yes, no result.  Sometimes (rarely) Webroot just works without having to do anything.  I do not like being on the internet without antivirus so I have the computer wifi off and the telephoner cable disconnected.  I have not connected to the internet on my computer since this has happened.
To try and check for malware/virus I had Microsofts Malware Checker downloaded and their Virus Scan downloaded on someone elses computer and then ran them on mine.  Nothing found.  I finally did a System Restore from a restore point several weeks back.  Nothing changed, No Webroot loading (except on 1 rare occasion).
I am not a computer guru so if you have any suggestions please be explicit on how to do them.  Thanks in advance.

Hi debracrow

Welcome to the Community Forums.

There have been a few instances of this recently and it seems that the best advice I can give you in these circumstances is that you Open a Support Ticket, to let the Support Team know so that they can investigate the issue for you and hopefully resolve it.
