When I attemp to install the chrom update, I get SecureAnywhere has detected Pus.Premium.Installer. Is there not really a google chrome update?

You are trying to install a fake version of Chrome. Please ensure you are downloading programs from legitimate websites.
The most common source of these is clicking on the advertisements in search engine results instead of the actual results of your search. Or your browser's search engine may have been hijacked and it only showing you advertisements.
You can get instructions on how to set your search engine back at this page:

You can get the legitimate Google Chrome program here http://google.com/chrome

Unfortunately, Webroot does not see fit to block these fake websites that shovel this stuff. Technically they aren't malware so I see their point, but there is literally no reason in the history of humanity that anyone would ever purposely want to download the fakes they offer.

Hello cooldraft and Welcome to the Webroot Community Forums!

I assume your talking about Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus it's probably just a firewall prompt to let it connect to the net?
