What does an exclamation on identity protection mean, and when it goes away?

When I opened my webroot the color changed to yellow and there was a large exclamation mark. On the side with the different links on the side I noticed that on the link for Identity Protection there was a triangle with an exclamation mark in it. When I closed out the window and then opened it again it was green once again, but then after a few seconds it went back to the the yellow color and had the exclamation mark etc. I did a scan and  closed the window and opened it once again to see if the same thing would happen, currently it is green and there are no warnings (yellow, exclamaitons). And now there is a padlock symbol on my webroot symbol. With what ever issue that occured, is everything okay and dealt because? Is that what the padlock means?
