My start-up menu includes three webroot items; webroot secure anywhere, and (2xs) webroot installer.
Not sure why the webroot installer is there twice; I disabled one instance of it, but kept the other running.

Which items are actually needed in my startup menu?
-I can understand that I need Webroot itself.
-do I need the "webroot installer"?

The startup impact for Webroot Installer shows as "high" on my windows 8 PC; Webroot itself shows as a "low".What does the installer do? Is this the software updater?

Hello there, welcome to the Community!

You do need to keep all three enabled.  As you guess, one is for the actual main program, and the other two are set to run at boot time to check for updates.  After those two have done their checking those processes end.

I hope this helps!
