Why aren't passwords protected from being compromised by the secure anywhere

Webroot secure anywhere should prevent compromising of passwords.  I have in the last 2 years been password compromised for an Email account.  Yes, changing the password stops the compromise for now.  In my thnking the security program that is installed should prevent the pishiing of the password or at least warn you of what is happening

We do have anti-phishing technology as part of WSA, along with protecting you from keyloggers.
 
What could have happened is a breach at one of the sites where you have logins, and they were stolen that way.  That can be especially dangerous if you re-use passwords at different sites. 
 
If you do try to click on a phishing link while using Webroot, it will pop up a block page telling you that this is a malicious site.
