I turned on my laptop and found out Webroot Antivirus was not turned on. It completely disappeared from my
PC. What would cause this to happen since it is good til August 2016?

Are you certain that Webroot is not in the All Programs? I am not sure what could of happened but would you please reinstall Webroot?

- Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
- KEEP the computer online for the install to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version as you will need.a different installer.
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again

Welcome to the Community Forums.
This has been known to happen occassionally, especially when upgrading to Win10...but I do not believe that the cause has been identified as it happens so rarely.
This is not a big issue and reinstalling, as suggested by Sherry, will sort the issue out for you.

+1I also had this happen (webroot disappeared) when upgrading to windows 10. Didn’t notice for quite a while so was basically unprotected for a significant period of time :-/ ….
