For some reason, I have 8 scans running at the same time and one of them has been running for over 9 hours, I can't seem to figure out why there are so many scans running and when I try to cancel them nothing happens. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Techguy1985

Webroot should not be running 8 scans.

Are you scanning the Time Machine too? Scanning Time Machine backups can take an extremely long time due to the way that apple backs up the information. I would recommend changing your settings so that you do not scan mounted drives with WSA.
Please have a look here http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/553/Changing-Scan-Settings

Change those settings and try to shut down Webroot's scanning. If that doesnot work then Try to shut down Webroot up in the right hand upper corner and click shutdown Webroot SecureAnywhere.

Let me know if you cannot shut Webroot down. We might have to do a reboot of the Mac.

Hi Techguy1985

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

May I ask if you are running a Mac?
