why won't this message about ext.dll go away even after I have done all that was requested and clear

I keep getting this message on my pc screen about ext8.dll what is this and why won't it go away even after following their directions several times, received a virus scan and gotten an all clear message. THIS IS FRUSTRATING.  I CAN'T GO ONLINE!!!!

    May I ask who's instructions that you tried and didn't work? Have you tried to go to System Restore? Is this the correct ext8.dll error?
