Windows 10
Can I use Webroot Security Complete software on my new lap top running windows 10 or will it shut it down? If I have to update Webroot, will they charge me? If so, how much?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
As long as the version of WSA installed is v9 or above it should install fine under Win10, and 'No' it should not shut it down. To make sure that you have the latest version I would recommed that you download the latest installer from here (or here for the Best Buy version).
You should not have to update WSA unless adding it to your laptop exceeds the number of devices that your subscription is for. If you need to check out upgrade price then yo can do so for US from here or for UK from here. Please note that the renewal sites relate to the Webroot rather than the Best Buy version.
