windows 10 disabled webroot antivirus
Upgraded from Windows 7 to Wndows 10 and window defender said webroot asntivirus inactive. Could not activate. Technical support said to uninstall and reinstall and it fixed the problem.

Yes, indeed there have been a few instances of this and the uninstall/clean install 'two step' is the recommended way to resolve the situation.
