windows 10 (I have this installed) pop-up notification on bottom right of screen says secure anywhere antivirus is turned off but it is not.  Happened when I went to two separate federal websites regarding the breach where fed applicants/employees info got stolen.  I ran scan and webroot says everything is ok and on each time this happened (popup goes away quickly each time), is this a known problem assoicated with the federal websites (like they can shut  your security off so they can check on who is visiting site or they have been hacked so this happens to visitors to the webpage) or is there some adware thing on my computer with windows 10 that does that for .gov websites?

Same here...about 20 minutes ago.  Seems to happen once a month.  Was also happening in previous versions of Win 10.  Must be a maintenance function.  I've learned to ignor it, although I could  uncheck it in "change maintenance notifications" but I choose not to.

Hello aakatiezz, BlazeTen,

Would you both mind doing an uninstall/clean reinsall of Webroot? I believe this will correct your issues.

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue? If not then I'd advise a Support Ticket which is free of charge with an active Webroot Subscription. So that they can take a look and see what's going on.
