Hi Webroot Community
I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue when they sign out of Windows 11 and try to sign back in the Keyboard does not work?
I am running Windows 11 25H2, did a full system reinstall and a couple of settings I change you are asked to Sign out and Sign in for the changes to be applied.
I did this prior to reinstalling Webroot and no issues.
I changed one more setting and was asked to sign out which I did but when I tried to sign back in the Keyboard was not working.
The Apple Magic keybaord with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad is connected via q Lightning to USB Cable,
The Keyboard has a power switch which I worked out if you turn off and back on the keyboard works again.
I have no other issues with the Keyboard and was wondering if anyone else may have experienced something similar?

I downloaded the 9.0.42.42 installer and did a clean install of Webroot.
The Sign Out of Windows and Sign back in to Windows is now working on my PC.

Note: I don’t see this on any of my 3 Laptops and I don’t know if it’s only Desktops with the Keyboard?

I did some more testing.
I attached a Miicrosoft USB Keyboard to the same Desktop System and was able to Sign Out and Sign In to Windows with no issues with Webroot Active
Just to clarify the kevboard works fine on Startup and when using Windows. It is very rarely I use the sign out feature as I am the only user of the computer.
The Keyboard is seen by Windows 11 as a HID Keyboard and Standard HID Microsoft Drivers.
Windows 11 doesn’t support the Touch ID Function of the keyboard.

It is a real issue, and it is clearly a Webroot problem. I have many small businesses using Webroot (50+ PC’s) and most are reporting the keyboard issue. I was able to replicate the issue on my own laptop. Removing Fast Boot is a work around. Uninstalling Webroot also works.!!

I ran some more testing with the Apple Keyboard which has also has Bluetooth.
My Desktop PC has Bluetooth so I connected the Keyboard via Bluetooth Start up and normal use no issues.
If I sign out of Windows and try to sign back in no response from Windows.
