Windows explorer opening muliple times. Cannot stop it.
After having downloaded latest update of Java, I noticed every time a web page opened, a script error message came up on line 15 and the question came up do you want to continue running this script? I said yes or no. Eventually, now when I open IE I get multiple episodes that keep opening and I cannot stop it without going to task manager. My name is David and I am new to the community. Any advice?

First, a quick question for you and then we will go from there. Have you tried to go into Internet Options to check what page is currently set as your "Home Page"? If not, I suggest you do that, and change the page to something that SHOULD open with no chance of error.... like yahoo or the Community here.

Let me know what happens, specifically:
- If IE opens to the new Home Page correctly without error
- If, after you have opened and closed IE 3 or 4 times, the Home Page gets changed to something else without you doing so.

I have heard about this before and if I recall you can try the following:
EDIT...just want to check if we are talking about Internet OR Windows Explorer? The below only applies if the latter is the subject of the issue. :$
Check the "Browse folders" settings on the "General" tab, in the "Folder Options" window. If you do not know how to access that option a quick way is to type "Folder Options" (omit the quotes when typing) in the Start Menu search box and choose "Folder Options" from the results list.
Hopefully that will do the trick but if not then do come back here and we will look into other courses of action for you.
