Windows powershell has stopped working. What can I do to fix it?

 I keep getting the pop up message "Windows PowerShell has stopped working". Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

Welcome to the Webroot Community,
 
Have you upgraded Windows by chance? This can happen with any OS upgrade  Have a look here at the Microsoft  Community! http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/getting-windows-powershell-ha...
 
I'd advise to open the Support Ticket,  so they can take a look.
 
You may also like to run a System File Check  ,and make sure Windows Updates are currently up to date.. 
 
If you've scanned with Webroot, and it is clean then you should be ok.
 
But you can always open a ticket for peace of mind: Submit a Support Ticket
