Hi glosickpd

Welcome to the Community Forums.

The logs can be found by clicking on the gear/cog symbol to the right of the Utilities tab, and then clicking on the 'Reports' tab of the next panel displayed. You will then find option, on the left hand side of the opened tab to 'Save Scan Log' & 'Save Threat Log'.

You can tell WSA is active in the same way as AVG, namely the fact that there is a icon in the notification tray artea; in WSA's case that is a Green circle with a 'W' in it. Green and all is well, any other colour or the presence of an exclamation mark means there is an issue. Also when yo see w golden padlock symbol appear over the notification tray icon that means that the Identity Shield is engaged and protecting the app (usually a browser) that you are using, etc.

WSA should run a scheduled scan every day assuming that you have not changed the default, but by default the displaying of the Scan Window during a scan is for it to be hidden. To change that, click on Adavnced Settings (top right hand corner of the main app panel) then on the Scheduler tab, and you should find the option to uncheck as the second one down amongst the options displayed on that tab.
