WRSA.exe

Recently when I boot my pc I receive a user account control notice asking to allow WRSA.exe.  I've had WRSA for several years on different pc's.  Currently a Toshiba with Win 7 Home Premium  64 bit os.  What would be causing this to come up at every boot?  Hasn't happened before now.

Hi ? and welcome to the Community forums.

The UAC issue started two weeks ago when the current version of WSA was rolled out. Webroot tell us they are working on a solution so we can only hope it will soon be sorted.

I am also running Win 7 and as far as I can gather from all the complaints about this issue, it seems to affect Win7 more than W10.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

We Beta Testers are testing a new build that solves this issue and hopefully they will be pushing an update out today so this issue will go away.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉

Copy that Daniel.   At least it's not a malicious poke at my system which was my first concern.  Standing by...

Thanks.
