- Under Activate a new keycode, enter the keycode you want to add and click Activate.
Note: your keycode is a string of 20 alphanumeric characters. It is unique and holds the information about your subscription. You may choose to copy and paste your keycode when prompted, to ensure that the characters are entered correctly.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,
Ssherjj,
Thanks for your guidence.

Hello Joy,
WSA Internet Security and WSA Internet Security Plus are indeed different products. While the features are almost identical, the copy marked "WSA Internet Security" is most likely a Best Buy Subscription Software copy. You can verify this by looking at the back of the box, probably the lower left hand corner. If there is a Best Buy Serial Number beginning with WBR, that is a Best Buy Subscription Services copy.
Copies of the Best Buy version do not have to be opened in order to be activated: they are activated instantly upon sale at the Best Buy register through the use of that Best Buy Serial Number. These copies of the software are NOT transferable. If the one you purchased from EBay was a Best Buy copy, most likely it was provided originally to a purchaser of a new computer for free as a 6 month trial version, and is indeed now expired regardless of being opened or not. You would need to contact the EBay seller regarding any refund if this was the case.
WSA Internet Security Plus is the 'regular' version of the software sold directly by Webroot, as well as at retailers everywhere. It does NOT have a Best Buy Serial Number on the back, or in the event of an online purchase no Serial Number is sent via email.
The two versions are NOT compatible with each other's key codes. If you have one installed and are trying to use the key code of the other, it will not work. You will need to identify which version the key code you are attempting to use belongs to, uninstall what is currently on the computer, and then download a FRESH installer for the correct version from the links below.
Let us know how you do!
