Your scan identified 136 threats - then when I click continue to remove all threats I get a NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM error - blue screen and system reboots - never performing the threat removal...
Never got the blue screen before (and have not seen anything else cause it) except for this software when it tries to remove the known threats.
Not sure what I need to from here to remove the adware found by this software..

Well thats not a good sign, that points to a possible hard disk issue. I would first of all do a backup ASAP, if your hard disk is throwing alerts its always a good idea to backup. I would then to a scandisk (shown below) then once this is done try another scan.
