Your choice really, newer drivers are usually better than older ones.
mg,
Hi! I work as a Customer Specialist at Driver Support. Just wanted to reply and inform you that our software is safe. As Rakanisheu mentioned, updated drivers are better. They can make your devices faster, fix errors/bugs, or add in features.
You may have installed Driver Support at an earlier time and have forgotten? You can click "Fix It" and follow through to receive the update or if you would like to just ignore and uninstall that's fine too. Here's the Uninstall Instructions for your convenience: http://www.driversupport.com/home/uninstall
Our office can be reached at 512-373-3518 if you need any assistance or have any questions for us.
Thank you,
-Kyle

This site does not have official support by any reputable companies. Always use the support pages of the companies that made your products.
The manufacturer of your PC, motherboard, or card, will have the correct drivers. Once you know what drivers you need, you can the newest versions on the official sites.

Petrovic,
Yes, it's true you may download drivers directly from the manufacturer, all we, Driver Support, do is provide software as a service. We make it convenient for users who may have trouble finding exactly what update is needed with our extensive database of drivers and our cloud driver matching technology that is extremely accurate. On top of that, we help non-technical users install the driver needed and we are able to detect a bug with a driver released by a manufacturer many times faster than the manufacturer themselves. That said, we are able to protect the user from that driver until it is fixed saving time and frustration.
If you look closely at the VirusTotal link you posted, that's 3 out of 57 companies. All 3 of which do not indicate it is a virus or anything, just lists them as PUA or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). Look at our Software Policies page, you will see we are very reputable by major players: http://www.driversupport.com/home/softwareprinciples
We are a Microsoft Partner; Gold Application Development. We follow all of Microsoft’s strict software quality standards. We have Truste’s Trusted Download certification which assures our customers that we honor their privacy while adhering to strict application behavior standards. We are also validated on Google, Mcafee, and Symantec via their websafe standards.
Just replied to show that we listen to our customers and try to help out in any way possible. Hopefully this forum encourages software developers to come and interact with people and help as needed. However we also know that our software is not for everyone, i.e. the technical user or do-it-yourself people, which is 100% fine, we even have a lot of users that use our software just to do the free scan and then go get the drivers for themselves. Or as I stated above its very easy to uninstall our software and if you have any issues you can call us directly.
